Joe Mewhiney was our Toastmaster for the evening and he did a great job coordinating the very full agenda of activities. George McKenna took an interesting route with table topics and used "song" titles for us to talk about – it was challenging and a lot of fun. We all learned something new from each of the prepared speeches. Richard Gray gave a very good speech on what it's like to live alone – mostly pros and some cons. Bob Eber gave us a well organized and very personal presentation on "Asperger Syndrome". George Oleru gave a very enlightening speech about following the Lord. And Don Macintyre taught us about the differences between British and American English – how they both evolved over the years. As General Evaluator, Terry Londergan evaluated the whole meeting and gave us all very good tips on how to improve our speaking skills.

As always we meet at the Regency Suites on Southbridge Street in Worcester every Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.

Be sure to contact Terry Londergan (VP of Education) if you want to get on the schedule for a role or speech. Set a goal for yourself on what speeches you want to complete and work with Terry to schedule these accordingly. Terry’s home phone is 508-885-5526.

Remember to notify the Toastmaster of the evening well in advance if you are unable to perform a scheduled role.

Cocktails will be from 6:00 – 7:00PM

Entrée choices are: Chicken Supreme, Sirloin Steak, and Grilled Salmon
