Calling all Toastmasters for the Serious Speech Contest coming up on March 15th at our club. It’s an opportunity to send our best to the Area Competition. See the back for more details.
Club Dues ($36) are due by March 15, 2000. That’s only $1.38 per week. A small price for such a wealth of knowledge and training we get each week. See the back for more details.
What a power packed meeting we had this week. Our Toastmaster, Paul Goldstein, led the meeting with considerable eloquence even though he was somewhat under the weather. The Topicsmaster, John Keeton, challenged us all with some very well thought out topics centered on Romance, Marriage, and Divorce. And our General Evaluator, Susan Bassick, did a fabulous job giving us all something to work on as we continuously improve our communication skills.
