SPECIAL NOTES:

We had 2 votes on our Central Toastmaster web site. A vote was taken and approval granted for the initial outlay of $100 for the web site set up ($25 domain name setup, $5 host setup, and $70 domain name registration for a 2 year term) and for a monthly hosting fee of $9.95. A vote was also taken and approval granted to select the domain name centraltoastmasters.org. A Big Thanks to Stan for helping set up our web site! It’s only a matter of a few weeks and we’ll have the site up and running. Our focus will now be on creating the content (what you see) on the web site. This is a great marketing tool and we want to make the most of it to attract new members.

The use of e-mail is paying off - 26 members now receive the weekly news bulletin via e-mail. Our current stamp savings is $9.00 per week which will easily cover the costs of our new web site.

The next District Conference will be held on May 5^th and 6^th. More details to come.

A reminder to please buy a meal and/or drink at the meetings to help our club maintain the room availability.

Please make every effort to notify the Toastmaster of the evening well in advance if you are unable to fulfill your assigned role – it’s common courtesy and a sign of a Competent Toastmaster.

Notice to all Club Officers, please have a speech ready at all times so we can replace any no shows. This is a good practice for all Toastmasters as well.
