Our first Summer 2000 Cookout was a smashing success!!! It was an evening of great food, fun and impromptu speeches. We all took a trip to France and then around the world – from France to Rutland (MA), Hawaii, Portugal, Ireland, England, Holland, Canada, back to England, and Afghanistan We had some very creative impromptu speeches as each of our members told their version of our club’s fictitious trip to France. Thanks to Judy for her hospitality and to all who helped with the food preparation and cleanup!

Our next cookout will be hosted by Gerald Groccia on July 19, 2000. We hope to have directions in the next Weekly Bulletin.

SPECIAL NOTES:

Cookouts are planned for July, August, and maybe September. These are a lot of fun and cost $5 each for the food.

A reminder to please buy a meal and/or drink at the meetings to help our club maintain the room availability.

Please make every effort to notify the Toastmaster of the evening well in advance if you are unable to fulfill your assigned role – it’s common courtesy and a sign of a Competent Toastmaster.

Notice to all Club Officers, please have a speech ready at all times so we can replace any no shows. This is a good practice for all Toastmasters as well – BE PREPARED!

As always we meet at the Regency Suites on Southbridge Street in Worcester every Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 PM (except for outings which will be announced in advance – please see the schedule above)
