The club members present voted 8 to 7 to "clap off" all speakers upon meeting the agreed preset speech time limit (when the buzzer sounds…). The Table-topics speeches were selected from current issues and news. These short speeches included safety of robotic surgery, contaminated organic products at your grocery store, and adventure dreams about the tall ships visiting Boston.
Gerald Groccia will host our next cookout on July 19, 2000. Please find the directions to Gerald's house at the end of this bulletin (MAP can be accessed on-line).
