Attendance: 32 Attendees
We witnessed a packed house at tonight's gala Farewell Pizza Party for Paul Goldstein. With 32 speakers present, including 10 past Central Toastmasters presidents, former members and guests, it was no surprise that this evening's farewell to Paul turned into somewhat of a "celebrity roast". Paul was both glorified and disparaged by our eloquent speakers (18 total) this evening. From marriage advice to speaking tips and praise, Paul received his share of feedback tonight. Of course, he had an opportunity to reciprocate. Paul told an insightful story about how he eventually joined Toastmasters despite his efforts to eschew the organization. The pizza was awesome and the meeting was conducted in true Toastmaster style. On behalf of all the members of Central Toastmasters, we wish Paul Goldstein the very best in his future endeavors!
Central Toastmasters will be hosting the Humorous Speech Contest coming soon - more information TBA.
