December 6, 2000

Attendance: 18 Members, 18 Guests

Wayne DuPont, our club's honored past president, received a royal roasting at this week's Central Toastmasters 44th Annual Christmas Social! From mild put-downs to rubber-glove props, Wayne survived an onslaught of insults...and then retaliated with his own deprecating remarks aimed at the roasters.

Cocktails were served from 6-7pm. An excellent dinner was enjoyed by all and the evening was topped-off by the 14th Annual Lew Chase Joke Contest. Our roast ended at 10:00pm!

Please remember to bring a copy of the latest Weekly Bulletin to each meeting.
