Please return any books, Guide to Roasts or any material that was distributed for the Annual Roast to Dan Abraham. Topics for the evening were carefully selected from "The Great American Bathroom Book." Past presidents’ (Officer Dan's) advisory:1. There was too much confusion about roles and responsibilities during the meeting. If you are uncertain about something, then ask another member for help. 2. Observe time limits better; when the red light of the timer goes on, then wrap up your talk (you have only 30 seconds or less from the moment you notice the red light). 3. Evaluations are supposed to be about how the speaker delivered the speech; set aside your opinions about the content of the speech. 4. "Look" professional (dress and behave with serious business quality dignity). 5. No speaker can (is allowed to) decide who will be their evaluator. If the bulletin can not help, then the General Evaluator will select the evaluator. 6. The audience should show the speakers more excitement and give more applause. The Toastmaster and Topicsmaster must lead the audience in activity when needed. |
