Please return any books, Guide to Roasts or any material that was distributed for the Annual Roast to Dan Abraham. Past presidents’ (Officer Dan's) advisory:It was a really good meeting in general. 1. Don't mention the impromptu-ness of meeting organizational details during the meeting. 2. Everyone try to project voice better. 3. Stay near the lectern, if you need to return repeatedly to speak so as to minimize foot traffic and waiting. 4. Reports have been neglected recently. The grammarian should provide real positive comments to the speakers. The wordmaster should be pro-active in encouraging use of the word of the evening. 5. Evaluators should note real positives in the speakers deliveries; not just recapitulate the speeches. |
