The installation of new officers was held at Terry and Bill Londergan’s home in Spencer, Mass. The Londergans hosted a lovely meal, followed by the installation ceremony, and an informal Table Topics session. The installing officer was Ted Verdone, a former District 31 Governer. The following officers were installed: John Keeton as President, Filomena Didiano as VP of Membership, and Bill Dussault as Treasurer. The remaining officers - Therese Delongchamp for VP of Education, Al Wheeler as VP of Publicity, Fred Nathan as Sgt, of Arms, Helen Valinski as Secretary, and Peter Hoag as Bulletin Editor - are in effect as of June 27 but will be installed in at a future date. Many thanks to the officers who fulfilled their responsibilities in the last year, and congratulations to the incoming officers!

John Keeton will host our next cookout on July 25, 2001. Directions to John's house may be found at the end of this bulletin. Please RSVP John to tell him whether or not you will be attending as it makes it much easier to plan the event. John’s phone number is 508-842-1786.

Notice to all Club Officers - please have a speech ready at all times so we can replace any no shows. This is a good practice for all Toastmasters as well – BE PREPARED!

From CLARION SUITES AKA REGENCY SUITES at 70 SOUTHBRIDGE ST: Start out going South on SOUTHBRIDGE ST towards MADISON ST/MA-122 by turning left. Turn sharp right onto MADISON ST/MA-122.

From I-290 W: Take the RT-122A/VERNON ST exit, exit number 13, towards KELLEY SQ. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto VERNON ST/MA-122A. VERNON ST/MA-122A becomes VERNON ST/MA-122. Turn slight right onto GREEN ST/MA-122A. Turn left onto MADISON ST/MA-122.

From MADISON ST: MADISON ST/MA-122 becomes CHANDLER ST/MA-122. Turn right onto PARK AVE/MA-12/MA-9. Turn right onto PLEASANT ST. Turn left onto HUDSON ST.

Directions to July 25,2001 cookout:

From Worcester: Take Rt 290 EAST to Rt 140 Exit South Shrewsbury. Second left off Rt 140 - Hill Street to end (STOP sign). Left on Prospect Street, straight ahead onto Dartmouth Drive (Prospect forks to left) to end (STOP sign). Turn left onto Olde Colony Drive and take first right onto Saxon Lane. Take first left off Saxon Lane to Partridge Hill Road; Morningside Drive is second right; 26 Morningside Drive is second house on right (beige with black shutters).

From Shrewsbury Center: Follow Rt 140 NORTH to Hill Street, turn right onto Hill Street. Hill Street to end (STOP sign). Left on Prospect Street, straight ahead onto Dartmouth Drive (Prospect forks to left) to end (STOP sign). Turn left onto Olde Colony Drive and take first right onto Saxon Lane.
