IMPORTANT NOTES – PLEASE READ ALL ITEMS BELOW:

The dues are due by October 1…Yes, it’s that time of year. At your convenience, please give check of $36 to John Keeton or Bill Dussault. Make it out to "Central Toastmasters".
Starting October 3 we will be meeting at the Regency Suite. Directions to the new location are at the end of the bulletin. Our next meeting (Sept. 26) will be at the Thyme’s Square Restaurant.
We are planning to add a $5.00 charge for those whose bill for dinner is less than $5.00. This is to ensure that the proprietors receive the minimum of $100.00 from the club every time we have a meeting. The $5.00 will go in the treasury, and every time we fall short of $100.00, we will take money from the treasury to pay for it. Also, to ensure that tipping is adequate, we plan to have a gratuity attached to each bill of 20%.
The district contest for the Humorous Speech Contest will be held on Tuesday Sept. 25 at 6 pm at the Hanover Uns Building (behind the AllAmerica Finanical Building). Rob Koenig will not be able to attend. The representatives for Central 2277 will be Helen Valinski for the humorous speech contest and Al Wheeler for the impromptu contest.

We meet every Wednesday from 7-9 pm at the Thyme’s Square Restaurant, 455 Pleasant Street, Worcester, Mass. The location will be changing to the Regency Suite on October 3.

Just a reminder: Please buy a meal and/or drink at the meetings to help our club maintain the room availability.

Members who are interested in speaking outside the club, please contact George Hast for more information about the "Speaker’s Bureau"

The toastmaster of the evening and the Sergeant of Arms are responsible for arranging the tables suitably for the meeting

It is a sign of courtesy to be quiet while a speaker is at the podium.

Proper dress for the dinner meeting is business casual at a minimum.

Notice to all Club Officers - please have a speech ready at all times so we can replace any no shows. This is a good practice for all Toastmasters as well – BE PREPARED!

Directions to location at Thyme’s Square Restaurant: From CLARION SUITES AKA REGENCY SUITES at 70 SOUTHBRIDGE ST: Start out going South on SOUTHBRIDGE ST towards MADISON ST/MA-122 by turning left. Turn sharp right onto MADISON ST/MA-122.
From I-290 W: Take the RT-122A/VERNON ST exit, exit number 13, towards KELLEY SQ. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto VERNON ST/MA-122A. VERNON ST/MA-122A becomes VERNON ST/MA-122. Turn slight right onto GREEN ST/MA-122A. Turn left onto MADISON ST/MA-122.
From MADISON ST: MADISON ST/MA-122 becomes CHANDLER ST/MA-122. Turn right onto PARK AVE/MA-12/MA-9. Turn right onto PLEASANT ST. Turn left onto HUDSON ST.

Directions to new location at the Regency Suite: From 290 East bound Exit 13 Kelly Square: Take a right off the exit ramp to Kelly's Square. Take a left onto Madison St. (between the two gas stations). At the second light turn right and you are there.
