Summary |
|
Dan Abraham |
Public Speaking Mistakes |
Fred Nathan |
Dan referred to the Toastmasters magazine when describing the 10 biggest public speaking mistakes. Some of the mistakes were reading a speech word for word, not being excited about speech, and ending with questions and answers. Dan interpreted the article in his own inimitable way. |

Pete Hoag |
More than Butterflies |
John Keeton |
CTM#10 – Inspire the Audience – While being about as uplifting as a tax audit, and often shuffling back and forth uneasily, Peter nevertheless commanded the audience’s attention with his fascinating true stories of public speaking and group meeting anxieties. |
|
Christine Jost |
Ice Breaker |
Al Wheeler |
Christine put a blowtorch on her icebreaker by describing her experiences in International Veterinary medicine. Traveling to remote places in Europe and Asia, she applied her skills in the areas of biodiversity and community development. |

MINUTE MAN
Joe Bellil showed the spirit of a true Toastmaster this week as he filled in as Toastmaster just as the meeting was starting. Joe did an admirable job developing an introductory message and conducting the meeting in a smooth, gracious fashion. Congratulations, Joe, and thanks!
