The Wish |
Bill Dussault |
Joe explored the pitfalls of desiring to be the most powerful, wealthy, or fit person in the world, and said that we should do the best with what we have. |
|
Filomena Didiano |
Dunkin’ Donuts and the Meaning of Life |
Joe Mewhiney |
CTM #7 Apply Your Skills – Filomena noted that the patrons of Dunkin’ Donuts encompass a broad cross-section of people in our society all seeking a caffeinated nirvana. She equated Dunkin’ Donuts to a safe haven of worship. |
|
Terry Londergan |
Broken Clay Pots |
Peter Hoag |
Specialty Speeches #2 – Terry related her own experiences of public speaking fear to exhort us to face our fears and overcome them. She proposed that we should focus on the audiences needs rather than thinking about ourselves when speaking. She used the metaphor of a "broken clay pot" to emphasize how we can all contribute in our own way. |
