Notes

·          The dues are past due, I believe !!!!!  Please send check for $36 made out to “Central Toasmasters 2277”.  You can give it to Bill Dussault or John Keeton via mail or the next meeting.  If you don’t pay your dues, this annoying message will continue to show up in this memo.

·          If you would like to have a role in an upcoming meeting, let Therese or I know about it.   There is an opening for a speaker on  April 24.

We had a good turnout for our area speech contest.   Rich Bianci (hope I spelled that right) and David Sapicone (I know that’s not right) finished 1-2 in the contest, with our very own Filomena Didiano finishing third.  Catherine Foster finished fourth.  All the speakers did a great job and a big hand for the judges as well (……applause break…….)

After the prepared speeches, we had an impromptu session hosted by Wayne DuPont.  Wayne’s topics covered issues ranging from insanity defenses to long-vein thrombosis.  Gene Brady gave himself a mulligan when he graciously passed the Topics baton to one of the visiting club members.
