BUSINESS SUMMARY
ATTENTION club members! When you attend, please remember to at least
meet the $5 minimum dinner purchase to maintain the room availability.
The Sergeant At Arms must collect $5 from any member that does not.
(This does not apply to any guest.)
Remember to bring a blank VHS tape, if you want to record and review
your performance of your prepared speech.
TOASTMASTERS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (TLI)
TLI is being held on Saturday, January 18, 2003. The District 31
Main TLI will be held at Waters Corporation (34 Maple Street) in
Milford, MA. Registration will begin at 8:30 with the first session
starting at 9:00. There will be a short District Executive Council
Meeting at the end of the TLI. Lunch will be provided and the cost
for the session is $10 per person or $40 for a club that sends 4 or
more officers. Contact Tom Weber - Div D Governor for more information

TLI is very beneficial to anyone who is currently a club officer as
well as anyone who is thinking about becoming one in the future. A club
that has sent 4 officers to last Fall's TLI and that also sends
4 officers to this Spring TLI will receive credit toward
Distinguished Club Status.

"Speaker's Bureau".
* The toastmaster of the evening and the Sergeant of Arms are
responsible for arranging the tables suitably for the meeting.
* Fred Nathan, Sergeant at Arms, will collect $5.00 from any member
who has not met the minimum dinner purchase requirement that
maintains the room availability.
* A 15% gratuity is mandatory to insure proper service.
You may, at your discretion, give more.
* It is a sign of courtesy to be quiet while a speaker is at
the podium.
* Proper dress for the dinner meeting is business casual at a minimum.
