member that does not. (This does not apply to any guest.)

Remember to bring a blank VHS tape, if you want to record and review
your performance of your prepared speech. Peter Hoag will transfer
the taped prepared speeches to VHS at the presenters' request.

Leading role participants, President, Toastmaster, Topicsmaster, and
General Evaluator with undetermined time to speak are asked to be
mindful of tailoring their words to fit the available time. The
meeting starts at 7 PM and ends at 9 PM. All member s in attendance
must be accorded time to speak. There is no exception to this rule.

Jon Caparso fixed the electronic Timer! He found a replacement bulb
right in the box. Jon's resourcefulness will take him far in life.
A great Thank You from everyone.

We'd all like to also thank Jon for his generous order of cookies
for all attending members. (See what you missed?)

SPEAKERS
Speaker Gene Brady
Evaluator Peter Hoag
Speech Title C&L#8, "Prostate Cancer"
Summary
Gene promoted awareness of the high incidence of prostate cancer.
He appealed to everyone to encourage all the men in their lives,
(especially those over 50), to be tested annually. It's painless
(just a blood test), and early detection saves lives.

Speaker Ralph LaCerte
Evaluator Ray Belsito
Speech Title Non-manual, "My Trip to Rochester New York"
Summary
Ralph moved to Rochester for business reasons. Though he was
initially quite reluctant and even fearful to move, he greatly
enjoyed his time there. He encouraged all of us to take up the
opportunity to move to a new location.
It's an opportunity to learn.

Speaker Filomena Didiano
Evaluator John Capuano
Speech Title Non-manual, "Memory Lane"
Summary
Filomena related the story of a particular radio contest for free
