1.       Please make every effort to notify the Toastmaster of the evening well in advance if you are unable to fulfill your assigned role - it’s common courtesy and a sign of a Competent Toastmaster.

2.       Please note: Six Mentors are available for members to meet with: Robert Koenig, Joe Mewhiney, Dan Abraham, John Keeton, Paul Anderson, and Peter Hoag.

3.       Cost of the room coverage: must meet the $5 minimum dinner purchase to maintain the room availability. The Sergeant-At-Arms must collect $5 from any member that does not. (This does not apply to any guest.) Proper dress is business casual

4.       Taping of the speeches: Remember to bring a blank VHS tape, if you want to record and review your performance of your prepared speech. Mark LaPete will transfer the taped prepared speeches to VHS at the presenters' request.

5.       Speaking engagements: Speaker's Bureau, contact: Dan Abraham at 508-757-3855.  Please give Dan Abraham a hard copy of the title and or summary of the speech(es) that you are willing to submit to the speakers’ bureau.

 “The Other Agenda”  Lee’s speech centered on a book he read titled, Confessions of an Economic Hitman,” by John C. Perkins.  The speech was intended to shed light on the methods of the U.S. achieving global empire.

“Assistive Robotics” Michael’s speech centered on how robotics in multiple capacities can improve the life of those with a disability.  Michael included in his speech a few examples to lure the crowd into the speech’s importance.

“Public Speaking made easy” Cal delivered a speech compelling the make audience laying out the ground work for how each and everyone of us could take the first steps in improving our public speaking abilities.  Cal was rehearsing this speech for an outside engagement to promote ‘Toastmasters International’.
